PAVERS
Pavers come in a wide variety of surface finishes, colors and shapes that will complement and enhance the architectural style of any home. We offer clay or brick pavers, concrete pavers, veneer pavers, and travertine pavers. Greenheart Landscapes skilled installers can create a variety of laying patterns, further expanding the customization possibilities. Pavers are installed on a base of compacted gravel and sand which is graded for proper drainage.

There is more to know when choosing a pavement material than just what meets the eye. As a conscientious homeowner, you want your driveway, patio, walkways, sidewalks, entryways, or pool deck to stand up to the weather, require little maintenance, and look like new for a long time to come. You also want them to be cost-effective. That’s why the popularity of pavers is sky-rocketing. The unrivaled beauty, easy upkeep, and long-term cost efficiency of properly executed paver installations are becoming more and more apparent to homeowners, especially in the Southwest where pavers compliment the natural landscapes of the desert.
Pavers are available in a wide range of colors and designs. Today, pavers are commonly chosen for residential and commercial projects for their elegant and/or rustic look as well as for their low maintenance and results that last a lifetime.
POOL PAVERS
A “pool paver” refers to any regular type of paver that can be used specifically for the construction of an outdoor poolside area and are categorized to be in the Thin Line Collection of pavers. They are thinner pavers and measure at 1 ¼” inch in thickness.
Pool Pavers are used for overlaying existing surfaces without the additional expense and inconvenience of removing the old surface. Interlocking thin pavers resist the cracking that is inherent in concrete and acrylic surfaces.

We also offer sealant for the sealing your pavers will create a darker and vibrant look for your pavers, but it is optional for pool deck, patio and walkway applications. For this reason, people opt out of sealing the pavers because it does become slightly darker. We recommend waiting 3-4 weeks following installation to seal your pavers. This will allow moisture to evaporate from the pavers and ensures an effective application of the sealant.
One of the unique features of Pool Pavers is that they contain white cement. During hotter periods of the year, some of our darker colored pavers can be sensitive to the touch; therefore we recommend installation of light color pool pavers. All our pavers and coping are produced exclusively with white cement. While white cement is typically priced higher than gray cement, gray cement pavers retain heat to a much greater extent than white cement pavers. For this reason, customers are encouraged to ask their installer for white cement products.
CURBING
Curbing comes in different forms such as pavers, concrete, steel edging, and travertine. Curbing creates attractive and practical borders around flowerbeds, lawns, and artificial turf. One unique aspect of custom-built paver curbing is that customers are involved in the process of choosing their style, color and type of paver. The most important characteristic is that it looks beautiful!

TRAVERTINE
Travertine Pavers can be used for patios, pool decks, driveways, paths and walkways. Travertine Pavers are a product of natural stone. Travertine Pavers are thinner than concrete pavers and they are installed the same as the man made interlocking concrete pavers. They can be installed either on sand or on top of your existing concrete deck. Travertine pavers are known for their durability, they have a compressive strength of 7000 PSI (Pounds Per Square Inch), which is more than enough even for driveways. In addition, we also offer pool coping, and pool bullnose travertine.
We also offer sealant for your travertine which sealing will create a darker and vibrant look for your travertine, but it is optional for pool deck, patio and walkway applications. For this reason, people opt out of sealing the travertine because it does become slightly darker.
